Qualification:

Relevant IT related Tertiary qualification or relevant experience

Skills & Experience:

Understanding/Experience in PHP

HTML and CSS, C# for developing dynamic driven sites

Understanding/experience SQL and JAVA as well as any scripting languages such as PERL and BASH

Experience in networking installation, upgrading and troubleshooting

Infrastructure support including; laptop, desktop, phones and servers

Extensive experience in configuring services such as (POP3/SMTP), WWW, DNS and Active Directory

Experience in Linux Servers (SuSE) and a basic understanding of Windows 2003 Server

Project life cycle experience

Job Description:

Responsible for information technology development, support, infrastructure and maintenance throughout the company

Manage and motivates a team of diverse individuals

Effectively communicates internally as well as with clients

Implement, update and enforce and enforce ISO27001 and other IT policies

Work with the System Administrator to ensure maintenance /improvement of back-end systems and network and infrastructure

Enable the team to deliver products and features in a demanding fast paced environment (working with the Systems Analyst and Project manager and developers)

Ensure all staff not based in Cape Town are provided with IT support.
