Well established Company based in Johannesburg is seeking for a IT Manager

Job Function:
Provide strategic direction, leadership and oversight within every area of the company’s connectivity and information technology operations, by effectively engaging and managing people, processes and resources.
Creating efficient technology platforms that optimally supports and enables the business and takes into account business strategy and growth.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric
IT Degree or similar
2 years’ experience in the similar role

Job Description:
Ability to contribute at executive level and to work effectively with other executives to achieve business and technology goals.
Responsible for IT Governance, IT Risk Management, IT Security Management and legislative compliance
Ensure that IT infrastructure and services are designed and maintained in a manner that will at all times match the growth expectations of the company. Develop and direct information technology strategy, policies, platforms and programs for IT services, connectivity and management information that align with and enable organizational strategies and initiatives.
Develop strategic relationships and obtain buy-in through taking accountably for and demonstrating a return on investment and value add for IT related spend.
Drive innovation and competitive business practice to ensure that the business receives benefit from current IT trends, programs and initiatives.
Management of IT applications and infrastructure/network and provision of technology support to the organization across regions (desktops, printers, phone/telecom units, projectors, servers, bandwidth, server capacity, LAN and WAN, etc.)
Implement IT related projects and initiatives through a structured project management process.
Perform a people management function within the department. Engage with IT department team members, conduct performance reviews, staff development and training plans, and day to day people management functions
Formulation of contractual relationships and management of all IT related vendors
Daily/Weekly/Monthly management reporting
Any other related duties that might be required
