Position: IT Network Operators – Durbanville (Shift position)
Salary: R10 000 R14 000 p/m (plus benefits, shift allowance & overtime)

Requirements and skills
? Completed Grade 12 qualification
? IT related qualification (A+ and/or N+)
? 1-2 years relevant IT experience
? MCP level preferred
? Microsoft Windows server skills
? Basic knowledge of Linux systems (command line)
? Advanced Word and Excel skills
? Understanding of applications and networking
? Own transport preferable
? Experience in installation & set-up of networks, servers or workstations will be an advantage
? English (read, write & speak)
? Passion for technology and learning
? High level of telephone & email etiquette

Duties
? Operation of monitoring systems & infrastructure according to SLA for clients
? Offer first line support
? Act on alarms and other associated commands or messages displayed on monitors / displays
? Health checks & compilation of reports
? Perform system administration tasks & maintain database of monitored objects
? RT systems maintained
? Product administration maintained
? Daily QA reports completed
? Standard report provided on request
? Stress report generated on a monthly basis
? Patch and/or hot fix release testing completed
? Keep hardware in good working condition to ensure high levels of productivity
