Position: Network operator (Shift work)

Requirements, skills and experience
• Completed matric
• 1-2 years+ exp in networking
• Networking qualification (N+ Level)
• Microsoft Windows server (MCP level preferred or A+)
• Basic knowledge of Linux systems
• Advanced Excel and Word skills
• High level of IT aptitude
• Good communicator, team worker & customer oriented
• Good time management & high level of reliability
• High level of professionalism to promote corporate identity of the company

Duties
• Prepared to work shifts
• Offer first line support (health checks)
• Monitor client infrastructure according to SLA
• Act on alarms & associated commands on monitors
• Liaise with Engineer of out of line situations
• Complete daily, weekly & monthly QA reports
• New & current testing compared
• Perform admin tasks & maintain database of monitored objects
• Keep hardware in good condition
