IT Operations | Billing | SQL | SSRS | Sage | Eppix | C#

The Operations Manager is responsible for looking after various operational functions for IT. The incumbent will manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, manage and motivate a team, work with data (analyse, validate and interpret), reporting to stakeholders, tracking tickets and optimising services (productivity and quality).

Responsibilities:

Billing:

Working with Finance and other teams to collate accurate data for billing
Performing billrun on in-house billing system
Maintaining and configuring billing system
Generating and emailing invoices
Performing debit orders and handling rejections

Handling of ad-hoc and scheduled jobs for internal systems:

Bulk recharges
RICA
Network lookups
SIM campaigns
Network reports
Load SMS campaigns

Reporting:

Running scheduled reports
Creating ad-hoc reports using SQL

Administration:

Creating users on internal systems
Perform daily system checks
Configure internal systems

User support:

Reports
Add new users / remove old users
Line 500 queries

Requirements:

3 - 5 years of relevant experience
Tertiary qualification relevant to function
SQL
SSRS
Excel skills
C# would be beneficial as well as any scripting skills (python, power shell)
Sage Line 500 or Eppix billing system experience would be beneficial
