IT Operations Manager – R40 000.00 to 50 000.00 CTC – Cape Town

Responsibilities include:
? Executing operational plans
? Optimise services (Productivity and quality)
? Service Management
? Manage operation team effectively to achieve goals by:
o Planning production
o Improving quality of deliverables
o Training and developing
o Recruitment of new team members
o Building strong relationships
o Motivating of team members
o Performance Management
o Managing of Leave, Promotions, Discipline
? Quotations compiled for ad hoc or audit enhancements to current systems and special investigations.
? Use project management skills to implement project plans
? Co-Ordinate all hardware purchasing for internal and operational purposes
? Manage client relationships

Previous skills qualifications and experience:
? 3-4 years Production Management experience in an IT Infrastructure environment
? IT Infrastructure, Networks and/or Telecommunications experience
? Basic knowledge of finance
? Project management skills
? Management skills (Preferably should have managed a team of 10 plus team members)
? Passion for technology and learning
? Understanding of the Management of IT and IT Infrastructure
? Strong presentation and communication skills
? Business Acumen and strong consideration for ROI
? Entrepreneurial initiative (self-starter)
? High degree of professionalism
? Strong influencing skills as well as relationship and network building skills
? Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
? Willingness to learn
? Show good judgement in all decisions to ensure sustainability
