Responsibilities- Provides a Product Vision document outlining the short term and long term vision and goals for relevant Products that is updated on a regular basis.
- Works with other Product Managers and departments to deliver a combined, coordinated vision, and ensure seamless product integrations where relevant
- Conducts competitor analysis to identify areas of opportunity, and develops and maintains detailed analysis of the competitive landscape and equivalent Product trends to ensure
- Interfaces with project teams, usability interaction and other functions to drive timely, seamless and successful rollouts/ launches.
- Interfaces with 3rd party suppliers, as and when required, in order to optimize software products
- Along with the leader develops and owns the product roadmap, in order to realise the underlying products and benefits from conceptualisation to implementation and beyond.
- Collaborates with and ensures the development teams know what the vision of the product is and what each phase/sprint delivers and what the business value and drivers are (goals) through a BRS.
- Collaborates and ensures functional specifications are made available on time and conducts specification reviews with development teams.
- Attends the project iteration/ sprint reviews and ensures the objective/ goals are measured and published
- nsures the Product/s are understood and used to their full potential across all applicable Clients
- Ensured that the Product/s are understood across all departments in Zapper
- Advocates the utilization of the business applications products amongst top tier operators to demonstrate its utility in ensuring competitive advantage
- Maintains high level of indepth, product specific knowledge, as well as general product area related knowledge
- Provides support during new product rollouts and product update rollouts (proactive testing, communication with operators and internal departments)
- Maintains a prioritized Product backlog of requirements and defects that supports the roadmap which will ensure optimal delivery of business value after each phase or sprint.
- Provide ongoing Product support, assisting Stakeholders to manage backlogs, resolve Support issues and actively monitors Remedy / Fogbugz / relevant tracking systems
- Compile monthly and quarterly reports per product, reflecting product performance, usage, opportunities, and dashboard monitoring.
- Implement changes / suggest changes to internal processes / products based on key metrics and reports
