Main Purpose
To manage the development and implementation of a broad and coordinated set of IT project plans and programmes to meet the company commitments and goals. 
 
Job Objectives
  • To liaise and work with appropriate customers to identify and coordinate new IT system enhancements.
  • To develop project scope of work documents and project plans for appropriate customers that include an analysis of benefit, cost, work schedule and any related risks and the mitigation thereof in accordance to the project closure defined within the Master Service Plan.
  • To assign, schedule, train, review, and monitor project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and is completed on time and within budget.
  • To Mentor and provide expertise to other project team members.
  • To engage with appropriate customers to identify the roles of project team members, project reporting structures and frequency of interaction.
  • To define the responsibilities of parties involved in the project including customers, management, IT management, project team, vendors and others affected by the project.
  • To identify, track, monitor and communicate project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of IT projects.
  • To chair project steering committee meetings and ensure scheduling, distribution of minutes, and meetings outcomes are actioned and communicated accordingly.
  • To implement and maintain project management methodology, practices and processes.
  •  To manage, update and integrate all IT policies and procedures according to all auditing requirements.

Job Experience:
  • Min - 3 years’ experience in IT Project Management within Travel and tourism or similar industry
  • (Including management of third parties).
  • 2 years IT Business Analyst experience. 
  • At least a year experience dealing directly with executive leadership teams and other stakeholders through reporting, presentations and submissions.
Education:
  • Minimum IT Diploma
  • Project Management certification - PMI, PRINCE2 or PMBOK
