- A PMP qualification
- Working knowledge of PMBOK methodology
- Relevant IT/Computer Science qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the IT industry
- Minimum 5 years Project Management experience (advanced PM skills)
- Working knowledge and understanding of:
- IT software development
- Hardware application
- Database structures
- Proficiency in MS Project or equivalent PM tool
- Project Management cloud application experience
- Passion for quality delivery and customer service excellence
- The ability to build great relationships
- The ability to ensure all team members deliver the right quality, on time and within budget
- Being able to train people on the application of project management principles in the IT environment
Duties:
- Manage the IT planning, scheduling, production process and performance review process
- Ensure the on-time delivery of high quality product, within budget
- Develop time lines and costings
- Work Breakdown Structures (using a Cloud application and MS Project)
- Allocate IT resources
- Adhere to project plan and project budget
- Ensure project team adherence to time and billing practices
- Manage outsourced resources
- Reviews with project team
- Reprioritisation:
- Manage scope changes
- Manage schedule impacts
- Communicate schedule changes
- Manage changes and milestones
- Partner with Client Services and PMO project teams
Integrate:
- Lessons learnt
- Operational efficiency requirements
- Best practices
- Support the project team (Client Services and PMO) to achieve targets
- Assist project team with program reviews
- Contribute to the review process
