Are you an IT Project Manager looking for an exciting challenge? We have a great job opportunity for you to join a non-profit property company in Cape Town! You will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the activities of small to medium sized technology projects to ensure that all the goals are accomplished.

Your key job responsibilities as the IT Project Manager in Cape Town will include:

- Accountable for the smooth progression of IT projects through the various phases of the project lifecycle
- Manage the IT aspects of the set-up of new clients
- Coordinate the diagnosis and resolution of support tasks that are logged post-launch
- Chair daily Stand-up meetings; this is a form of peer review and you are expected to query un-met goals from the previous day
- Ensure any roadblocks to project progression are swiftly resolved, coordinating resolution actions between relevant parties
- Identify and recommend ways in which the project management process could be improved or streamlined

Requirements for this IT Project Manager job in Cape Town:

- Bachelor's degree from three-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- B Public Admin degree (preferable), or B Degree with specialization in Public Administration or Legal Degree
- Honours Degree from college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and application of formal project management principles, processes, tools, techniques and applications
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and application of Prince II standards
- Demonstrate a good understanding of change management principles and applications
- Applies sound cost control and budgeting principles
- Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of project management and delivery within a larger enterprise project portfolio management context
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic MS Office suite (including MS Project and Viso) and other relevant computer software programmes (e.g. Project Portfolio Management software)
- Valid drivers license
