Scope of the work
3.1. Scope overview
The scope of work entails the following services as specified below:
• Project planning together with a work plan to ensure that the project is delivered within budget and on time.
• Manage relationships with various stakeholders across the business and in related organizations including third parties.
• Advocacy for client and their requirements and ensure that they are met.
• Manage the client's expectations and ensure constant feedback.
• Lead and manage the project team both technical delivery and business resources
• (People, Budget, etc.).
• Lead the successful delivery of the innovation project, facilitate and help remove obstacles for the technical team.
• Manage the technical outcomes of the project in an agile way (delivery in sprints).
• Develop business case and financial models.
• Experience in the financial services or banking sector

• Co-ordinate activities related to the delivery of the project. "
• Manage integration of various projects.
• Manage risk, issues and change management
• Ensure the efficient management and control of functions/resources in accordance with the stipulations of the PFMA, fraud prevention and risk management principles, corporate governance, legislation, company policies, processes, regulations and Delegation of Authority.
3.2. Scope of the services
The scope of the services should address the following key requirements:
• Responsible for the planning and delivery of project/s within the Postbank environment within time lines, budget and quality standards within the project sphere including relevant tools, techniques, policy, methodology, process and guidelines.
• Lead the successful delivery of the innovation project, facilitate and help remove obstacles for the technical team.

Experience and qualifications
• Minimum of B Com/B IT /B Tech related Degree (NQF Level 6) in Project I
Program I Portfolio Management I IT or Business Administration
• Post graduate qualification linked to the above will be an advantage
• Minimum Project Management Certification/ Agile framework/Scrum certification
• 5-10 years' experience in program/project management, strategic planning, general management, new business opportunity evaluation in an IT/business/ banking environment.
• Experience in IT project management within a banking environment would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5-10 years' relevant/ applicable managerial/ project management

Experience
• Project Management knowledge according to the International Standards i.e.
PMBOK, Prince2, SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework), Agile Framework etc.
• Working experience in implementing highly complex projects in an agile way.
• Working knowledge of applicable legislation e.g. PFMA
• Sound knowledge of Project Management Tools (Traditional and also Agile).
