Purpose of position: To function in the HR department as a headhunter who will be responsible for the full cycle recruitment process, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring IT / sales specialists within a IT Distributor company. Thereafter to manage the probation and orientation period to ensure proper onboarding and coaching of new employees within their respective roles.
The focus will be:
- Recruitment
- Establish recruitment requirements per department through meetings with management and studying the organisation plans / organogram.
- Build a successful applicant database / pipeline by researching and contacting various institutions / universities / candidates / LinkedIn.
- Attract top talent through the implementation of a recruitment strategy.
- Place adverts per specific position and personal requirements based on the job descriptions; LinkedIn, job sites, newsgroups, Facebook etc.
- Headhunt candidates / screen CV’s
- Conduct telephonic interviews per requirements; as well as knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
- Reference checks / ITC etc. on potential placements
- Assessments as position requires: excel, verbal, etc.
- Act as point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Short listing of potential candidates and scheduling of interviews with management
- Create contracts and offer of employment letters
- Regret other interviewees
- Onboarding
- Manage the company induction program for all new employees – across regions
- Create orientation documents per position to effectively manage the individual probation period
- On-board new employees in order to become fully integrated
- Coordinate probation and orientation review meetings between management and employee.
- Other:
- Continuous improvement: Improve organisation attractiveness by recommending new policies and practises for recruitment.
- Understand current legislation and conducting training to HR department and managers as required
- Monitor and apply best HR recruitment practices
- Provide recruitment report to management
- Assist with Internship programs as required.
Job Requirements:Education & Experience:
- 2 - 4 years Recruitment Agency experience
- 2 - 3 years IT Industry experience
- Matric certificate
- Diploma / certificate (HR - preferred)

- MS Office Suite (Intermediate – essential)
