JOB TITLE IT Network and Security Manager

Main job purpose
? Job purpose is to provide guidance & implement security solutions in a computer network by troubleshooting issues, monitoring potential threats and providing secure information communication platforms to users.
? As a manager, you may be required to direct the actions of other it professionals working as a team to promote the digital security of the company.
? The role is also responsible for it risk and audit functions such as iso, disaster recovery and business continuity
? The role is to make sure there are no vulnerabilities in the system, network, infrastructure and we are not open to cyber crime and all threats are identified thus coordinating, managing and providing assurance on all information governance, information security and it risks.

Minimum requirements
Qualifications
? Diploma in information technology.
? Computer forensics.
? Information assurance & security.
Experience
? At least 10 to 15 years experience in a similar role.

Knowledge
? Security software and assessment tools.
? Computer forensics.
? Virtual prive networks.
? Firewalls.
? Detection and prevention system.
? Security architecture.
? Working knowledge of networks, pc/mac os and mobile devices.
? Must understand ip addressing and have knowledge of routing / switching, tunnelling, security and wireless systems.
? Experience with router and switch configuration.
? Requires the ability to work well in a team environment with little or no supervision.
? Ability to follow through with tasks, projects and handle several tasks simultaneously.
? Excellet customer service skills.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Occational off hours work is required.
