An exciting opportunity exists for an IT Server Administrator within one of the leading companies within the hospitality industry (based in Pinetown).

Job duties are subject but not limited to: 

• Microsoft Server maintenance and daily tasks
• Daily helpdesk jobs
• Chasing up on urgent and outstanding Helpdesk jobs
• User setup including email
•  Networking – LAN/WAN
• Assisting and advising Junior Technicians
• High level Directors support
• High level remote support
• The technician will be office bound
• Active Directory management
• Terminal Server management
• Routing and Remote Access management

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements: 

• Relevant IT degree/diploma 
• At least 5 years within a IT systems support role. 
• Must be proficient in Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008, 2008 R2 and 2012 
• Symantec Backup Exec 
• WSUS
• Must be a team player 
• Excellent ability to communicate (written and verbal) 
• Candidates must be willing to work overtime when required.
