Our Client, is seeking the services of a IT Service Desk/Support Technician to start as soon as possible.


Qualifications and Requirements:

-Grade 12

-A+ and N+ Certifications

-Desirable qualification: MCSE/MCITP

-Fluently Afrikaans & English speaking

-Excellent telephonic skills and communication

-Own reliable transport and driver's license


Duties & Responsibilities:

-Answer incoming calls

-Track all information on a call tracking system

-Escalate all unresolved problem/issues/requests

-Troubleshoot basic end user issues on various software applications/hardware/network and telecommunications

-User support and customer service

-Respond to queries from Clients

-Familiarity with each client and their respective applications

-Learn fundamental operations of commonly used software, hardware and other equipment

-Follow standard Help Desk operating procedures

-IT Policies and Procedures

-Other duties assigned by Help Desk Manager

-Sound knowledge of IT Operations

-Develop technical knowledge of each system

-Adequate knowledge of operating systems


Work location: Johannesburg

Time frame: As soon as possible

Probation period: 3 Months

Monthly Cost to Company: R 6 600 - R 10 000pm

Further Studies: Candidates might be send for further studies - If studies is passed Employer will pay study fees, if failed it will be for candidates account.
