IT Service Manager - Midrand (experience is a must) contract based

We are looking to recruit a service manager, for an ISP with offices all over. With ISP or telecoms experience.
Contract based position
Need someone who can start immediately. 1 NOVEMBER preferably.
Living in the Midrand or Centurion areas.

Job Description
The Role: Service Manager for Networking team

Position:
* To lead the service function within the business, consisting of service desk and network engineering, to ensure support issues and customer escalations are dealt with within SLA`s, delivering the best possible customer experience.
* Play a key part in maintaining the ethos and framework of the service management function in the company as the business continues to grow for the period of the contract. Maintaining standards and facing the challenge of keeping the same high service standards that are currently in place are maintained as the company grows.
* Network operations performance & monitoring
* Track & manage customer satisfaction levels with the intention of constantly improving the customer experience.
* Develop and implement process improvement
* Improve efficiency & productivity
* Prepare & present service reports
* Identify strengths and weakness, mentor and develop team members

The candidate:

* You will be a service management professional, with a track record of success within telecoms, ISP or cloud based IT.
* You should be tenacious by nature, an excellent motivator and communicator and someone that stops at nothing to solve a customer problem.
* You must have knowledge of data networks and associated ISP technologies, ideally with some exposure to providing these services within a 24/7 NOC based environment.
* This role may suit someone that has experienced both large company, and expanding company environments and ideally, you will have played a strategic part in shaping the framework of an evolving business.
