We are urgently looking for an I.T Specialist for our clients contract logistics division.

Requirements:

3 years’ experience in IT support, with strong knowledge of Windows based computer hardware (desktop & servers), software and LAN networking.

Completed A+, N+, & MSCE qualifications and familiar with MS networking.
Preference will be given to candidates who have previous exposure to
automotive sequence and/or warehouse operations.

Available to join a standby call-out roster and provide 24/7 after-hours support.

Strong computer literacy and able to users of MS Office suite (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint).

Responsibilities:

Ensure the WMS system is available and operating as expected by the warehouse operations team.


Maintain and resolve, or escalate any issues with the hardware required to support this business, included barcode scanners, report & label printers, LAN connectivity and computers.


Provide an escalation path for issues reported by users, and follow up until resolved.

Ensure issues are routed to correct resolution team


Provide input on and contribute to discussions about improving warehouse processing flows.



Support implementation of updates and upgrades to WMS.


Ensure company security standards for WMS applications are adhered to.


Ensure compliance with best practices and standards.
