An IT Company specialising in the Healthcare industry, has a vacancy available for an IT Consultant (must be fluent in English and Afrikaans). The position is available in the East of Pretoria.

Duties and responsibilities
Extensive travelling to clients and customers within and outside the borders of SA
Provide support, implementation, user training and setup of software
Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.
Set up computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, scanners etc.)
Check computer hardware (HDD, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
Maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
Scheduled upgrades and maintenance performed without deterring others from completing their work
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
Identify computer or network equipment shortages and report findings to Manager
Serves existing accounts by analysing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
Performing acceptance tests.
Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Requirements
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Matric
Completed A+ and N+ qualification
One year IT Hardware and Software experience
Must be available and willing to travel extensively
Valid driver’s license
Valid passport is kept at all times
