VACANCY: IT SUPPORT ENGINEER (East Rand)

International group are looking for an IT SUPPORT ENGINEER to work at their Modderfontein office.

DUTIES:

1. Remote support for all South African branches, Botswana and Namibia.
2. Identify all technology needs of the company
3. Upgrade and repair computers and LAN
4. Control the Accounting Software System
5. Back-up files and servers
6. Data clean-ups
7. Ensure group policy’s are implemented
8. Perform all IT support functions

REQUIREMENTS:

a). Grade 12
b). National diploma or degree in IT
c). MCSE qualification
d). VOIP knowledge
e). Server 2003 and 2008
f). Desktop support – hardware and software
g). 5 years hand on experience
h). Ability to train and assist staff
i). Be a teamplayer
j). Ability to travel to any of the branches – should it be required
k). Be available for after hours work on weekends – from time to time – for planned maintenance.

PACKAGE:

R30,000 (total cost to company – includes medical aid and provident)
