IT Support Engineer



 



Responsibilities



 





  • Provide support and troubleshooting skills on all supported products listed at an intermediate to high level 


  • Manage incidents within pre-defined response and resolution times. 


  • Liaise with vendors to ensure problem resolution. 






  • Ensure all systems have the latest hot fixes and updates on OS, Applications and Anti Virus


  • Remote Support via Team Viewer


  • Vendor incident management including Printers, WAN and Websites


  • Systems monitoring and related incidents management


  • Generate system health and incident reports




 



Requirements





  • Microsoft Certification, N+, A+




 



Operating System Support:





  • Microsoft Windows XP, Vista,7




 



Applications:





  • Microsoft Office 2007/2010


  • Terminal Services Configuration


  • Team Viewer


  • Sophos Anti Virus


  • VNC




 



Hardware:





  • Desktop and Notebook troubleshoot and support


  • Printers – Laser and MFP laser support, changing cartridges




 



Networking:





  • Wireless Network Access Point and Client Configuration


  • Strong TCP/IP Skills and Knowledge


  • Understanding of DNS and DHCP




 



Additional Skills





  • Mikrotik Configuration


  • Knowledge of Biometric Systems


  • Basic Active Directory knowledge (add users, reset passwords)


  • CCTV DVR configuration and management


  • Pastel Knowledge


  • Linux installations and configuration


  • Server 2008
