Our Client is currently seeking an IT Support Manager to join their Dynamic team in Rosebank.

This position will report directly to the IT manager.

Overall Purpose of the job

Responsible for managing the organizations software need,including carrying out installation of necessary software, as well as the safe protection of the IT base of the Company by installing necessary protection tool, such as the Anti-virus software and other software needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage Support Staff
Maintain Head Office building equipment i.e. generator, UPS etc.
Maintenance of PCs and IT equipment
Ensure hardware and software are up to date
Stock takes and procurement of stock
Monthly stock takes
Oversee staff and ensure that tickets logged are attended to timeously
The manager's role is to ensure that all necessary mechanisms and inventories are in place for the smooth running of the organization's system.
Other tasks they perform include networking, troubleshooting,and driving of the company's IT equipment.
The IT support manager is also responsible for all data system backups and management of company's electronic mail account, making necessary efforts to ensure that mails and information therein are protected and safe.

Key skills & qualifications required

Linux system support experience
Networking experience min 5 years
Stock and inventory experience min 5years
Previous Supervisory / Management role min 5 years
Matric + Relevant IT Qualifications
Drivers Licence
Clear Criminal and ITC record

The package on offer is upto 35000k cost to company per month.
the company also offers a 5% provident contribution per month and a Group life fun which is 100% company contribution.
