The IT Support Technician will be responsible for all IT related projects and ensuring that all in-house systems, which includes Desktops; Servers; CCTV Systems, all Telecom Systems and the clocking system, work effectively and efficiently at all times across all business sites. Managing software developments, systems analysis, strategic it/business alignment initiatives and projects that build a solid IT foundation for business execution.

DUTIES:

• Ensure that:
o User support and technical issues are resolved.
o Ensure that new users / equipment is configured and installed correctly.
• training to users, where necessary, on the correct use of systems and applications.
• identification and resolving of various IT related problems.
• installation and configuration of Microsoft applications.
• Attend to any IT related projects, new equipment roll outs.
• Create a project plan, outlining the sequence of all activities and tasks in order to accomplish goals within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards.
• Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project process and scope.
• Continuously monitor progress in terms of the status of the project plan. Resolve issues affecting the project, keeping all managers properly informed.
• Understand internal users’ needs and develop project plans accordingly.
• Regular Auditing of Computer equipment
• Ensure that the necessary IT documentation is up to date and stored on the relevant servers
• Testing of Access Points when required
• Manage the Telephone Systems and report faults to the relevant SP
• Assist with Managing the relationship between divisions, and providing regular feedback to the necessary team members.

4. MCSE Certification
5. 5 + years IT experience
6. Drivers License & own transport
