A Payment IT systems company for card and fund management, which offers student finance, insurance as well as IT Bundles, is seeking for an IT Support/Web Developer HOD with a minimum of 3-4 years experience to lead our team. This Position demands you as the Head of department to ensure that daily operations of various departments runs accurately including the Call Centre.

Requirements:
• Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in IT
• Knowledgeable in Computer Programming, web development, IT support
• Familiar with Operating system and Server
• Network and Security
• Excellent web and database programming skills
• A good appreciation of design, usability and interactivity

Duties and Responsibilities
• Submit Monthly Progress Reports
• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
• Talking staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues
• Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
• Replacing parts as required
• Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
• Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
• Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
• Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
• Testing and evaluating new IT technology including New Software’s
• Core duties and responsibilities include the flowing. Other duties may be assigned.
• Understanding of HTML, XHTML, PHP, JavaScript and CSS with ability to rapidly learn and master diverse web technologies and techniques
• Determines new Web technologies to utilise, such as browsers, languages, and plug-ins, based on company’s needs.
