Stowe Holdings is seeking a motivated individual to join their team in the ICT Department that will be based in Plattekloof, Cape Town.

Purpose

Stowe Holdings needs a capable, enthusiastic, goal orientated, motivated ICT System Administrator to take over all aspects of the configuration and maintenance of the infrastructure. Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

Design, plan, implement and maintain the enterprise ICT systems.
Analyse infrastructure and make recommendations on necessary improvements that would help drive the business objectives.
Contribute documentation towards IT Strategy i.e. operational, configuration and procedural documentation.
Manage day-to-day activities, system performance, checks, maintenance and repairs.
Deal with 3rd party vendors in support of existing products and liaising, planning new services.
Maintain backup and recovery strategy
Managing disaster recovery plan including regular testing
Day to day management and supporting of Microsoft Office365
Active Directory Users, Computers, Group Policy.
Constantly work towards securing the organization from internal and external threats.
Manage endpoint device solutions – antivirus endpoint backup.
Maintain firewall rules and support.
Configure routes, create VPN’s and setup policies.
Setup and configure Servers. (Physical and Virtual Environment)
Printer server maintenance and configurations.
Microsoft SharePoint used for the company intranet.
Provide 2nd line support to Service Desk as well as IT Team for challenging problems and assisting in problem resolution.
Agree individual development plan annually with the Department Head / ICT Manager, focusing on skills gaps identified in performance discussions.
Attend training scheduled per the development plan, demonstrating skills and knowledge acquired.
Ensure that functional knowledge is relevant and continually updated.
Use initiative to research relevant information to keep abreast with changes and new developments in the field.
Exhibit a commitment to learning from others within the team.
Ensure that functional knowledge is relevant and continually updated by attending training sessions when offered.

Minimum Requirements:

MCSE/MCSA (Essential)
3-5 years’ experience in IT managing and supporting a corporate network
Solid background in network administration and architecture including comprehensive working knowledge of Active directory
Have IT Project experience
Proficient in managing DNS, DHCP and Group Policy services
Have excellent knowledge in MCSE certification, Microsoft Hyper-V HA, Server 2016, DFS, Hyper-V Replica and Data-Centres
