Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to take up the role of a IT Technician.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Build the brand of IT through service delivery and customer orientation
Ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail)in a timely and accurate fashion
Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level

Required minimum education and experience:
Minimum: MCITP
(Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
or equivalent after Grade 12
Advantageous: Further IT qualifications
Advantageous: ITIL Foundation
Minimum 2 – 5 years’ experience in the IT industry, preferably in a support role with customer facing experience
Advantageous: Office 365; Active Directory; Networking; Network Printing; ITIL helpdesk methodologies
