RS Recruitment Services is assisting a rapidly expanding SHORT TERM INSURANCE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE company, to recruit a TEST ANALYST to be based in their offices in BRYANSTON, JHB.
Applicants should be/have:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in testing environment
BCom Information Systems or equivalent
Able to work extended hours, when necessary
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Environment readiness (SIT, UAT, Prod)
End to end System testing, including negative, regression and business case testing
Ensure internal as well as external users have access to all applications on all environments and the necessary roles and rights have been given
Daily execution meetings with BA's to review daily status and confirm next steps / actions
Identify gaps/risks/issues and manages SIT and UAT testing from beginning to end
Must be able to spot issues and risks ahead of time, to plan and avoid issues, rather than reacting to them
Communication with Business Leads and UAT Test Lead on Test Case content
Documenting Test Strategy, Approach and Plans in accordance with the risk appetite for the project and provide detailed plans of testing tasks to be undertaken
Liaising and consulting with 3rd parties on testing requirements, schedules and approach
Responsible for accepting any development changes into the SIT, UAT and Production phase of the project
Provide detailed status reports to the Project Manager, Business or 3rd Party tracking progress, actively managing any risks/issues arising from within the test team that requires escalation to achieve satisfactory outcome
Remuneration:
Market related, depending on experience and qualifications
