IT Sales/Account Manager - Woodmead
A large IT Company based in Woodmead, is currently searching for a Sales/Account Management candidate to join their team as soon as possible.
Salary: R15 000 – R20 000 (depending on experience) + commission structure + mileage + company provided laptop

Minimum requirements:
At least a Matriculation certificate.
Relevant operational and\or communication related qualifications.
Relevant vendor sales certifications an advantage e.g. HP Accredited Sales Person or Microsoft Licensing certified.
Marketing qualification advantageous.
2 to 3 years’ experience in relevant IT focused sales and account management role.
Relevant IT solution \ technical sales experience very advantageous.
Good IT solution and product knowledge (HP and Microsoft primarily).

Duties will include but is not limited to:
• This multifaceted position involves two key areas – sales (existing clients, new clients and lead generation) and account management.
• The sales function of this position will be generating and submitting of quotes to clients. The candidate will own the process from start to finish and will liaise with suppliers for pricing, generate the quote, submit to management for approval, submit approved quote to client, follow-up quote with client, place order(s) with supplier(s) and then pass to technical for implementation.
• In addition to this the successful candidate will assist the Business Development and Sales Manager with all relevant aspects of sales.
• This individual will need to manage client relations and service delivery of these clients. In essence ensuring that the clients are completely satisfied at all times with the service and support they are receiving.
• The ability to generate new leads for the sale of IT solutions and services will also form part of this position. These opportunities may be with existing clients and therefore require the individual to be able to identify such opportunities. They should also be able to leverage their existing contact network and utilize techniques such as cold calling to “open doors” and setup meetings.
