Java Analyst Developer – Centurion – R500k to R600k
Our client requires an experienced Java with 5 to 8 years’ experience as a Developer/Senior in Java Environments.  Technical design of systems from functional spec, Develop systems and Code in Java and .NET
 
Responsibilites

• Document the code and all artifacts produced
• Develop test cases for own and other developers’ code and test accordingly.
• Create specifications to the standard for the developers in the project
• Ability to comply with governance processes and structure
• Superior ability to interpret business requirements and functional specifications
• Create innovative and logical solutions to problems while following governance guidelines.
• All other functions relating to the I.T. systems development life-cycle may be required to be performed as part of the job description
• Help with Application support or troubleshoot if need arise
• Production system maintenance and enhancements as requested by Business
• Document technical specifications based on agreed business and functional requirements.

 
Qualifications & Experience       

• BSc IT / BCom IT / 3 year IT Diploma
• 5 to 8 years’ experience as a Developer/Senior in Java Environments
• Experience in designing complex integrated systems.
• Experience in Java and Microsoft development tools.
• Desirable if one can adapt to .NET environment as well
• Advanced experience in OO design, Java, SQL.
• Advanced experience in building services (windows and web), XML.
• Design scalable, supportable systems for operational problems.
• Superior ability to investigate and analyze information in troubleshooting
• Process design experience
• Fundamentals Net Frameworks 1 – 4.5.
• Proficient in Java Development and JAVA related technologies.
• SQL 2008 R2 – Database, queries, reporting
• UML
• Web app development, Web services, Windows services
• Added advantage TIBCO integration and ESB development
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of process flow charts, sequence diagrams and use cases
• Exposure to Integration
• Advanced programming logic

 
Salary is negotiable on experience.
