Required: Computer Science related Degree/Diploma Java Sun Certificate Essential – minimum of 6 years work experience Java .Net JavaScript Ajax HTML XML Visual Studio. Duties: Maintain production and internal backend and frontend applications; Ensure .net and Java technologies are up to date; Follow and design upgrade plan for Java applications in to .Net; Generate updated documentation on existing systems; Apply change request on applications; Improve existing systems to adhere to best practice; Liaise with Business Analysts in scoping and developing projects; Develop applications according to requirements from analysts; Design applications according to requirements; Generate functional and technical specifications for applications; Generate well defined architecture for systems in the design phase; Maintain and enforce development lifecycle; Mentor peers in terms of technology, good practice and design; Work with systems architect to apply best coding practice
