A leading company in the IT industry, has a Java Developer vacancy open for an Intermediate – Senior Developer.

Duties:
• Responsible for Java/J2EE/J2SE application development as per business requirements
• Contribute in code and design reviews of other components
• Implement basic unit testing as defined by the test specification
• Correct errors as identified by the unit program tests
• Providing proficiency in software development lifecycle phases from concept and design to testing
• Analyses, designs and builds component-based applications in a Web delivery environment
• Introduction of an application layer
• Software Development based on systems requirement
• Producing technical documentation
• Assisting with production deployments

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant IT Diploma or degree.
• 5+ years of Java experience in application design, software development.
• Maintenance and delivery with 2+ years’ experience with application servers such as J2EE Application Server, JBoss Application Server, Apache, Tomcat, IBM WebSphere.
• Solid experience with Web architecture and Web design and development tools and languages such as HTML, JavaBeans, JSP, JavaScript, JQuery, JDBC, Java Servlets, SQL.
• Strong relational database experience essential.
