A business support solutions company is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join their IT Department. The ideal candidate must a minimum of 3 years’ development experience, work well in a team and have extensive coding knowledge.

• IT related degree, diploma or certificate
• Must be willing to work in a J2SE environment
• Must have proven server side development capabilities, Java\Swing and JDBC development experience is essential
• Experience in application system development, and not only Web/Mobile applications
• Sun Java, CORBA and Oracle (advantageous)
• Must have strong relational database and stored procedure experience
• Be comfortable constructing complex high performance SQL queries, OO designs and be able to interpret UML design diagrams
• Telecommunications background, CVS, Subversion, or similar version control tool experience (advantageous)
• Eclipse/Builder/NetBeans
