Role Location - based in Johannesburg.
SALARY RANGE: R30 000 –R40 000 per month plus standard benefits

JAVA DEVELOPER
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (non negotiable):

-3 to 4+ years experience using an OO language such as Java or C++. Java expertise with J2SE experience is preferred
-Relevant Diploma or Degree in IT or atleast 5+ years MIN related and practical work experience
-Excellent object-oriented analysis, design and development skills
-Sound understanding of relational databases and SQL, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- A commitment to quality
- Teamwork, technical ability and problem-solving skills are essential
- EXCELLENT verbal and written communication (as this is partly a customer facing role)

ADVANTAGEOUS:
- Experience using Python
- DB2 LUW experience
- AIX (ideally version 5) experience
