You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of key product / billing / network monitoring / maintenance systems with a strong web services (java) component.

• Understand business processes, and write web applications from presentation layer though to database layer, 
  staying with the business design patterns and reference architecture.
• Leverage the understanding of the business to ensure alignment of code and overall business strategy
• Design and implement new technologies where these make sense and add value to the ongoing running of the network
• Assistance with the design of the system architecture including
• Infrastructure requirements
• Reference architecture
• System application architecture
• Security requirements
• Object Oriented (OO) design
• Assistance with the production of technical specifications

 Processes

• Deliver quality software according to company standards and processes
• Enhancing existing processes to better deliver on business needs.
• Integration of Systems to ensure the efficiency of systems
• Assist systems and network systems in tuning systems for maximum effect
• Act as product support to other software development users

 Education/Experience

• 3 year Degree/Diploma in IT
• 3 years of experience in an area of specialism, with experience supervising others
• Technologies: ASP, XML, XML Schemas, Java, JavaScript, or VB Script, HTML, Oracle, Remedy, SQL Server
