The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following key deliverables:
? Program designs from specifications
? The development, enhancement and maintenance of programs and documentation
? Support existing J2E CMS, existing Angular JS and solutions
? Utilize J2EE and OO best practices for application design and development
? Understand the use of frameworks and re-usable components
? Analyse impact of proposed changes to programs and provide estimates
? Produce code that adheres to functional and technical specifications and is well documented
? Perform Quality Assurance checks / Code Reviews, Unit and System Testing
? Prepare Technical specifications and adherence to time deadlines
? Ensure audit, security and access control requirements are adhered to

Desired skills for this role (but not all are essential):

? 2+ years’ experience in client and the server side of J2EE development
? Experience with JDBC, JSPs, HTML, XML, XSL, Ant, JBoss, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Apache Camel
? Android, iOS, Phonegap, SenchaTouch2, code repositories: svn, git, maven, ANT, Hibernate, SQL, GWT, Tomcat, JBoss, Eclipse, JDBC, MySQL
? JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Karma, Bower
? Working knowledge of relational databases using Postgres and DB2.
? Experience with the Eclipse IDE
? Methodology – Agile / Scrum
? Jasper Reporting
? Experience designing and developing Java (J2SE/J2EE) systems
? Good grasp of all things J2EE, including:
? SOAP and RESTful web services
? Glassfish or another J2EE application server
? EJB3, Spring, JPA. Zimbabweans only with a valid work permit to apply. If you have worked for financial institutions an added advantage.
