We need a leader for our Java team and competency!

We ideally need someone who can work hand in hand with the BU Manager to assist in management duties, take the lead of interviewing new team members, assist in managing projects, clients and the Java team, development and Architecture will also be required.

The position will be ideal for someone with a career as a Java developer and who has been a team leader in recent years, and who has worked in a managerial capacity/ fulfilled management duties.

15+ year’s relevant experience
Relevant IT Qualification
Location: Cape Town (ideally someone who resides in Cape Town)
Broad Java back-end knowledge and experience
Have knowledge of front-end technologies
Help grow and mentor the team members
Help grow the Java competency
Have experience and be comfortable working with clients
Constantly work on expanding your skills and knowledge
Be passionate about taking on this new challenge
Be willing to take on any challenge as it comes about
