Requirements for this Java Programmer job in Cape Town:

- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience working in java skillsets

- Technical Requirements - J2SE; JSP, Servlet, Tag Libraries; Junit tests; JavaScript (JQuery); HTML; MYSQL; Apache Tomcat; Netbeans IDE; Git, SVN; MVC patterns

- High level knowledge of software development methodologies

- Ability to quickly become acquainted with new technical concepts and technologies

- Ability to know when to ask for help and manage this individually – the sink or swim approach

- Passion for working with Open Source technologies and toolsets

- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills

- The following are advantageous – Struts; REST; Spring; Hibernate; Linux skills
