Zoho is offering free Java training and contract job opportunities for the right applicants in South Africa. Java is one of the most popular programming languages in the world, The training starts on 1 September 2015, full-time from Monday to Friday. The course is 22 weeks long.

Successful placement depends on your performance at job interviews. The only cost involved is R300 to go through the acceptance testing process. After that, if you're accepted, you don't have to pay a cent. There are some requirements, though. You must:

have a Matric certificate;
complete a competency evaluation test (no programming knowledge needed);
have a valid South African ID;
not have a bad credit rating,
no criminal record;
SA citizenship;
your own computer (laptop or desktop);
be competent in English; and
be between 18 and 26 years old.

Booking for the competency test is essential. If you haven't booked you won't be allowed to do the test. Spaces are limited.

The test evaluates logic, concentration and understanding of programming concepts that will be needed during the training programme. You can only write the test once, and if you have already written the test you will not qualify again.
