• DIPL / DEGREE IN TECHNICAL FIELD / PRODUCTION
• 10 YEARS MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
• 3 YEARS EXP IN BAKRY/ FOOD / FMCG ENVIRONMENT
• ABLE TO ASSIST IN ALL AREAS OF PRODUCTION
• REPORT DIRECTLY TO GENERAL MANAGER
• MAINTENANCE ACCORDING TO THE BUSINESS NEEDS
• 6 DAYS WORK WEEK AND OVERTIME WOULD BE REQUIRED
• SHOULD HAVE MANAGED A LARGE PLANT WITH LARGE VOLUMES – MIN 100 EMPLOYEES AND SEVERAL SUPERVISORS (SHIFT SUPERVISORS/ MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORS/ STORES CONTROLLERS)
• MUST HAVE SAP AND ERP SYSTEM (JDE) KNOWLEDGE
Manage all operational requirements related to manufacture of products (maintenance and production). Fully responsible for plant, materials, methods, quality and equipment. Accountable for the efficient, safe and profitable operation and production of the plant at minimum cost, maximum output conversion and resource utilisation. Ensures efficient use and management of human resources
• Maintenance operations:
• • Ensure maximum plant up-time through preventative / scheduled maintenance
• • Set maintenance strategy and policies
• • Set baseline metrics and monitor key performance measures for maintenance
• • Define and manage performance improvement objectives
• • Determine engineering change management approach and policies
• • Identify requirements for physical assets
• • Design maintenance roles and authorisation profiles
• • Influence and recommend maintenance:
• o resource structure and allocation
• o information system reporting
• o process requirements and structures
• ERP system responsibility
• • Good working relations with the cost accounting department:
• • Reconcile and close production orders
• • Monitor inventory and financial transaction ensuring all inventory transaction processed
• • Ensure that all production variances are explained.
• • Ensure physical recipe matches to system BOM
• • Ensure all damages and scrap accounted for within the system
• • Ensure that all Production reporting is extracted direct from JDE (or via Hubble)
• • Responsible for accurate and on time data off the factory floor into JDE
