Jnr Stock Controller (Food & Non-Food Products)

Educational Requirements:
Matric (With Maths)

Experience Requirements:
Must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in purchasing / procurement / buying
Must be well presented & well spoken
Must be attentive to detail & accurate
Must be proficient on Microsoft office, Especially Excel
Must have experience on SAGE Pastel
Must be able to calculate & convert e.g. Tons / Kilo’s
Must be able to calculate quantities needed
Must have own transport and valid driver license

Responsibilities:
Liaising with various suppliers
Consolidating orders from suppliers
Researching prices, product comparisons & Negotiating prices
Buying & capturing stock
Coordinating delivery
Receiving stock & confirming quantity and order is correct
Keeping a constant check on stock levels to maximize business efficiency
Identifying potential suppliers
Processing orders, POD’s, invoices
Maintain inventories of materials
Coordinating & liaising with various departments such as warehouse
Answering phones, taking messages
Ensuring filing and admin is up to date
Ensuring system is up to date with prices, stock etc.

Addition:
Salary R8 000 – R10 000 per month CTC
Must be able to start ASAP
Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm. And Two Saturday Mornings a month
