We are looking for a competent Jnr Function and Event Coordinator to help the busy and thriving activities of a top Winelands Estate. You will assist in ensuring that events are successful and cost effective, paying particular attention to budget, time constraints, brand alignment, co-ordination between venues & outstanding service. The successful candidate will possess over outstanding organizational & communication skills, meticulous planning skills and a passion for upmarket hospitality sector.

Job Description:

-Planning events from start to finish according to business division requirement, target audience and objectives
-Pre-event preparation and trouble shooting
-Pro-active execution which will enhance the success of the event
-Effective intercompany co-ordination resulting in smooth event execution
-Analyse the events' success and provide detailed reports and feedback

Requirements:

-A proven track record as a coordinator or a relevant qualification
-Excellent communication skills (fluent in English & Afrikaans)
-Computer literacy (MS Office)
-A customer service-driven individual
-Experience in upmarket / fine dining Hospitality service is advantageous
-Relevant qualification in Business Management/ Hospitality Management and/ or Project Management
