A food manufacturer and distributor based in Stikland has a vacancy for a Jnr Management Accountant.


Job Description:

* Maintain time clocking system
* Load new employees on clocking system and communicate timecard number to production supervisors
* Rectify clocking errors on time system
* Process leave on time system
* Run weekly time sheets, distribute to Managers for approval and do necessary corrections
* Submit weekly wage reports
* Submit monthly overtime reports
* Assist HR department with clocking/leave info when needed
* Liaise with technical department to keep product costings up to date
* Assist production clerk on product standard costs
* Investigate differences between standard and system cost on a daily basis and give feedback to Production Manager/Operations Director
* Run a daily yield report, analyse yields and standard product cost differences and distribute to technical and production managers
* Investigate and give feedback on GP’s below standard (daily)
* Financial Accounting: Assist with month-end processing and reporting; Maintain Fixed Asset Register

Must have a relevant qualification.
