Top fleet equipment hire firm seeks Mathematical Data Analyst (Jnr). Perform extensive data-mining and mathematical analysis of data. Training will be provided.

Non-Negotiables (We will check)

* Degree in Maths or Actuarial (Pref Honours)
* Gifted at understanding numbers
* Ability to use computational analysis to identify patterns in data
* Expertise in datamining and BI

* 1-2 years experience in datamining or equivalent (Grads may apply)

What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the fleet equipment hire sector. All duties would take place in this context. Training will be provided on the IT aspects of the role i.e. Excel and MS SQL Datamining.

* Identification of data sets
* Data cleansing and master data analysis
* Development of mathematical data models
* Loading data into excel or MS SQL
* Development of reports
* Ad hoc and complex data analysis
* Use datamining techniques it identify patterns and actionable insights in data

Key Job Deliverables:

* Mathematical analysis of complex data
* Using SQL to perform datamining (Training can be provided)
* Development of analytical models

Background work experience

* 1-2 years experience in datamining or equivalent (Grads may apply)
* BSc Mathematics or Equivalent (Pref Honours)
* Mathematical analysis and modeling

* Adv: Exposure to MS Sql
