Upmarket Hotel in Camps Bay requires a Reservations Consultant

Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Accommodation Certificate / Hotel School Diploma
Drivers licence and own transport

Opera PMS experience is essential
Reservations experience with knowledge of Online Travel Agent bookings
Understanding of OTA and Wholesale industry
Knowledge of industry rates and rate structures
Familiar with all duties and procedures in Front Office / Reservations Department
MS Office (Word, Excel and Email) is essential

Candidate must be able to work weekend shifts and be customer focused and friendly

Duties Include:
Process bookings in Opera PMS system
Process pre-payments in secure online system
Adhere to payments, cancellations and no-show policy
Deal with guest requirements before arrival
Identify VIP's and communicate to relevant departments
Update marketing collateral for online partner websites
Assist with commission processing
Assist with free sell reports
