A solutions developer based in Stellenbosch, but with a footprint across Africa, the UK and the Middle East, has a vacancy for a Jnr Solutions Engineer.

Job Description:

*Working with the relevant client and in-house stakeholders to understand, interpret and work with client’s business requirements 
*Responsible for input into Functional Specifications 
*Working with team lead, project teams to ensure that any development/configuration meets the business need 
*Responsible for the technical design of a customer system
*Assisting in developing test data in line with business scenarios
*In conjunction with BA ensure a thorough system and integration testing end to end on the solution
*Building/Configuration/Parameterization/SQL queries/Report designs, etc. as per Functional Specification(Training on the software will be provided)
*Implementation/Bug Fixing and further customization solution
*Work with the product support and development teams to suggest solutions or workarounds for recurring issues
*Problem solving and detailed root cause analysis.

Requirements:

*Excellent interpersonal, logical, problem-solving skills
*Computer, Server and Network skills
*Demonstrate sound work ethics
*Good to Great SQL skills
*C# Scripting Knowledge (Low)
*Matric/Standard 10/NQF 4 with Math and Science
*BSc Information Systems/Computer Science Degree or equivalent
*0-3 years’ experience in configuring, development of Enterprise Software
*Development experience (Low)
*Previous experience in configuring Enterprise Software is an advantage
