Our Client, is seeking the services of a Junior Accessories Buyer in the Retail industry to start as soon as possible.

Knowledge and Technical Requirements:

-Preferably no older that 45 years' of age

-Grade 12

-Degree/Diploma in Merchandising/Interior Design on Business level

-4-5 years' Retail experience


General Knowledge and Experience:

-Extensive knowledge of the retail industry

-Extensive knowledge of the financial markets and exchange rates

-Knowledge of HR

-Ability to interact with all levels

-Strong administration skills

-Buying skills

-Knowledge of buying on a international level

-Costing models and price points

-Understanding of perceived and actual value

-Logistics and Supply Chain Management

-Stock levels and store levels



Measurable Outputs:

-Range building and product development

-Order placement and maintenance

-Logistics and Distribution

-Manage and maintain stock levels

-Relationship building with suppliers and supply chain

-Work with marketing on product, displays and campaigns

-Team work and Self-Management
