Our client in the Financial Services Sector is seeking a Accountant with minimum 2 years relevant experience to join their expanding team. The incumbent will be responsible for the full accounting function (to trial balance) and must be “deadline-driven”.

Job Description:

Responsible for journals, importing, exporting and processing up to trial balance
Loading of EFT’s
Cash sales and purchases/expenses books
Correct allocations to account, cost centre and company
Ensure effective communication with Advisers and Regional Manager
Reconciling the balance sheet monthly
Prepare and allocate commission payments / advisor statements
Ensure all control accounts, balance sheet and income statements are reconciled

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant Financial Degree / BTech or Diploma
Minimum of 2 years Accountant experience working in the financial services industry
Advanced Accpac and Ms Excel skills is essential
