A leading company in the telecommunications industry is looking for a Junior B.I. Developer to join their team.

Purpose of the job:
A Junior B.I. Developer will design and develop B.I. models and dashboards to support end-user needs. The role requires complete comprehension of data models and utilisation of both relational and dimensional data sources.
This position is responsible for ongoing analysis of Ignition data and information, obtained from a variety of sources, including operational, financial, and demographic data. It involves development and preparation of information products for association staff and members. It requires the ability to analyse data from conceptualisation through to the presentation of the data. It requires knowledge of data analysis methodology, use of presentation software, and strong communication. The B.I. team also perform a key reporting role within the company through the use of other reporting software in addition to the B.I. tool (QlikView).

Key performance areas:
Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing requests
Develop B.I. models to assist solving business questions and problems.
Use and support database applications and analytical tools: evaluate data quality, applications, and functions, produce output, and maintain operations
Research new data sources and analytical tools; contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation
Ensure that the B.I. server process continues to run and operate in the most efficient manner
Create and maintain technical design documentation
Responsible for training internal users on how to use the relevant software available to them
