Junior Bookkeeper / Creditors Clerk – Rondebosch Southern Suburbs Cape Town
Our Financial Investment Company in is looking for a 3 months Junior Bookkeeper to assist with clearing out the historical backlog across the various principal and underlying entities. Ideally a permanent resource would be acquired to take over the drawing up of payment requisitions (such as a creditors clerk).
Salary up to R 12000 for 3 TEMP assignments – Permanent Position offer after 3 months as Creditors Clerk
Hours of work 08:30am to 17:30am

Job Requirements as a Junior Bookkeeper:
• Junior bookkeeper with minimum of two-year experience in similar position – PASTEL
• Formal Pastel experience with minimum two-year experience capturing on Pastel (debtors, creditors & cash books);
• PASTEL EXPRESS OR PASTEL V14 – Experience
• MS Office Excel, Word & Outlook;
• General administration skills
• The temporary resource would need to assist with the capturing of cashbooks, debtor and supplier invoices and collecting outstanding information required.

Permanent Employment Job Duties as a Creditors Clerk:
• Daily capturing of supplier invoices & credit notes – PASTEL
• Draw up payment requisitions on a bi-monthly basis
• Monthly supplier recons;
• Maintain supplier accounts & resolve any queries;
• Draw up monthly recovery invoices, with reconciliation & backup;
• Reconcile petty cash;
• Collate information required by FM in performing of duties;
• Administrator & Filing.
