JUNIOR BOOKKEEPER – MATERNITY CONTRACT

Creditors – 75% of job function
• Match GRN’s and supplier invoices
• Capture supplier invoices on Pastel system
• Reconcile supplier statements to Pastel system
• Prepare monthly payment schedule
• Follow up on documents from stores and suppliers
• Prepare sundry creditors for daily payment

Bank Accounts
• Process and Reconcile petty cash book
• Process and Reconcile credit card cash book

General
• Liaise with bank on store banking issues eg credit cards
• Prepare weekly sales schedules
• Prepare turnover schedules for Landlords
• Daily backup of Pastel system

Minimum Requirements:
• Sage Pastel, experience must be current and incumbent must have at least 2 to 3 years’ experience
• Recent Creditors experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of General Ledger and Creditors Journals
• Post matric qualification in Bookkeeping
