Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to provide analytical insights for our Marketing office, specifically, but not limited to supporting the Retention team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Provide BI analytical support to the Retention team
Achieve BI goals and responsibilities within given deadlines
Provide feedback to management and teams on insights, new reports, new developments and trends
Report on business activities to key individuals and departments, including third parties and partners.
Processing of all reports and provision of high quality data in as timely a fashion as possible.
Analysis of specific marketing campaigns within 5 working days of campaign end.
Data management and effective creation, structuring and optimizing of business reports.
Analysis and effective presentation of results of reporting.
ROI reviews and Ad Hoc reporting on retention campaigns with supplementary insight to improve efficiency and performance of customers in specific segments.
Assist marketing managers with database retention management.
Monthly macro reporting, covering turnover analysis, macro-economic and internal trends
Constant study of customer spend behaviour to improve company retention strategies.

Requirements & Skills

Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
Strong maths, statistics and logical skills
Relevant numerate Bachelor Degree, Finance or Business preferred
Ability to read spreadsheets and numbers, genuine love of numbers and the value that can be derived from interrogating them
Hands-on experience with reporting services and data mining will be useful
Displays positive attitude
Demonstrates flexibility in day-to-day work

Able to think logical and objectively with the ability to think outside of the box and therefore see the bigger picture
Comfortable working under pressure and successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously

Sound understanding of database principles and relational table structures (basic SQL knowledge essential, extensive knowledge an advantage)
Knowledge of PCI compliance and data security is an advantage.
Knowledge of how to control financial information systems an advantage.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Good knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online
Good knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL platforms
